## The challenge

Technicians used paper job sheets that reached the office days later. Billing was delayed, disputes were common, and managers had no live view of work in progress.

## How we approached it

1. **Field research:** Rode along with technicians to design for gloves, sunlight and poor connectivity.
2. **Offline sync:** Local database with background sync and conflict handling, so jobs never get lost.
3. **App build:** React Native and Expo app with photo capture, digital signatures and maps.
4. **Dispatch console:** Web console for managers with live job status and automatic invoice triggers.

## Results

- **5 days → same day** from job completion to invoice
- **−40%** billing disputes thanks to photo and signature proof
- **99.6%** crash-free sessions

## Tech stack

React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Mapbox, Firebase, Sentry
